Scotty “Huff Puff” Huffman
Having six older brothers and sisters, Scott had listened to a very diverse array of music growing up. When he was 12 years old, he remembers seeing an Ozzy video with guitar player Jake E. Lee in it and he knew that was what he wanted to do. After some guitar lessons and about a year of playing with some friends he still wasn’t very good, but that didn't stop him from playing every single day.

At the age of 13, he met drummer Jason Hesprich and fellow guitar player Ralph Williams, whose parents let them play on their music equipment and in their garage and house just about everyday for about 3 years (Awesome People)! After that Ralph and Scott met drummer Jeff Holden and guitar player Jason Bogart, at which point Ralph switched to bass guitar so they could finally have a full band.

All through his musical development, Scott was mentored by his brother-in-law Andy Janzen, who was and is an excellent guitar player and was responsible for introducing him to Hobie (guitar player). Years later Hobie and Scott would help form a little band called “The Ralph Davis Trio” which then turned into “The Ralph Davis Band” and then “Crossroads” at which point Scott put the guitar down (to do what all guitar players do when the other guy is better than them and are in need of a bass player), he started playing bass. Later on with the addition of Mike (The Beaver) Wild on the drums the band would become, what is now “Hobie and the Leftovers”

In 2004 Scott got the opportunity to teach music at a local music store where he teaches both guitar and bass guitar.

Scott has performed countless times and has lots of studio and recording experience. He still performs regularly with Hobie and the Leftovers and is currently playing in Big In Japan with drummer Corey Basch and long time friend and musician Jason Bogart, who shares guitar and bass guitar duties. Between performing, teaching, writing and recording; music is pretty much his whole life.http://www.biginjapanrocks.com/http://www.biginjapanrocks.com/shapeimage_5_link_0shapeimage_5_link_1
